mpg increase on 2014 cascadia evolution

i just got my second truck after my first had a lot of issues, i had a 2012 kenworth t700 which had duels on it and got 5.5-5.8 mpg. I recently upgraded to a 2014 cascadia evolution which in my opinion is a very nice truck, good engine and decent aerodynamics.

here are some specs of this truck

Engine: Detroit DD15

14.8 Liter 505HP@ 1800 RPM

Transmission: Eaton 10 speed

Rear ends: 3.41

Steer Tires: ContinentalHSL2 Eco Plus

Drive tires: Xone XDN2

R/R: 119

Now i know i can get better rolling resistance with changing to a the tires, and i know adding airtabs will help with aerodynamics. But what about other products that work what else is out there?

So far i am getting 7.1over the last 3600 or so miles pulling a trailer with no fairings or other aero products on it, with side skirts and super singles on a trailer i got 7.6 pulling it a little over 1800 miles. going to start tracking it on fuel gauges since i had a chance to add the truck in to my account and remove the other. just added my first fuel up on there Sunday.

So how are you doing on fuel mileage now? The reason I ask is cause I did just the opposite I got rid of that piece junk Detroit I had and went to ISX cummins so far lot happier no where near the problems and fuel mileage is running at 7mpg.

I don't think there's a whole lot you can do to the new trucks other than what you stated already
