best tire inflation pressure

on new X ones Energy D drives, driven at 65mph+, should tire pressure be 110psi or 120psi? Also, on new tires should I get them balanced?

I've tried all these wild numbers your going to hear but I've found that if you use Michelin recommend air pressure for the weight you haul on those tires you will be much better served. I run about 32,000 lbs on my drives most time and I run 100lbs air pressure and the super singles are finally wearing great

I agree 100psi gave me great tread wear. I did not balance but used centramatics and skirt-nuts with excellent results!

can't balance wide single tires unless you throw some counteract beads (or similar product) inside - they do strip the inside of the tire though.

Spin balancing cost me $30 per tire and eliminated the 54 MPH vibration. The centramatics did nothing to help the situation.

I would to agree with that 100lbs of air pressure I've notice that my super singles have been wearing much better at that pressure than any other pressure I've used.
