Transmission is very rarely slamming into gear, any thoughts?

We just purchased a 2008 peterbilt 386 with a cummins 500 isx and an eaton fuller auto shift plus. It said it was a 13 speed on the spec sheet but it only goes into ten gears. A couple of times now it slams into gear from neutral so violently it feels like it could drop the drive line. The only way to get it to work properly again is to disconnect the battery. We have had it looked at twice and the mechanics haven't figured any thing out yet. It throws code 64 and an F. If any one has any ideas it would really help us out. It's really quite horrifying cause it launches us forward like a dragster after slamming into gear..

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?
