10.3 MPG! What say you?

Using my Scan Gauge D, I was able to see that I averaged 10.3 MPG today. I was running empty on flat ground at 55 MPH, but it is still some great MPG.

After about 25 miles I get 10.0 at 55mph. Can't wait for my Microblue bearings to get broken-in.

Took me about 100 miles to get it to 10.0. The first part of my trip was lots of city streets going from stop light to stop light, then some morning rush hour Sacramento traffic.

micro blues don't break in.

My pro star has the "instant mpg"on dash ... do you think it's as good as the scan gauge,bc although it has instance mpg,I'm not gaining any better mileage.ive tried driving 62 for 350 miles and watching the gauge but ugh..no difference .

Update

Yeah I'm thinking that dash gauge isn't accurate..I actually went 1100 miles ,no difference.

Unless you put pen to paper or use fuel guages you cant tell by the instant read out on the dash if you are making improvements. First you need to establish a baseline of your usual driving for 2 weeks then start slowing down.350 mile isn't long enough to tell if you have made a difference.
