Is tubo boost and manifold pressure the same?

I have installed K&N air filters and Pittsburg Power dual exhaust mufflers. I have a pyro and a manifold pressure gauge. Do I still need a tubo boost gauge?

What results should I expect as to changes in manifold pressure and pyrometer temperature after the installation of the K&N filters and PP mufflers?

I don't know if you will see any changes in those readings with those two modifications. When I switched to a Fleet Air Filer, I did not see a change in boost and I don't have the high flow mufflers.... Yet.

The "turbo boost" is usually read off of the intake manifold. That is why the two terms are interchangeable. Do you NEED a boost gauge? No. Is it helpful to have a boost gauge? Yes.

I don't think he was asking if it helpful to have a Boost Gauge. The question was if a he needs a boost gauge now since he has a manifold pressure gauge.
