Parking conditions around shipping and receiving companies

Lot of times I would find out that there was that small truck sto closer to where I was delivering or picking up freight, if had known I would have come there. Data base of company name and address, and notes on approachability and parking with phone no, would be of great help.

I have a book with truck stops and many apps on iPad. Not all truck stops are listed. Sometimes companies allow parking on the property. Sometimes truck drivers find safe and secure parking outside truck stops. WalMats are such places.

So if I query company name city and state I can pull up notes of experiences with that location:)

I call the shipper or receiver and ask if they have parking, or where is the closest to park. This does not always work, but when I end up being told what door to park in front of it sure is nice.

You can buy a truck stop book at the truck stop and if you have a smart phone there are several apps available for download.
