I have a 2009 Pro Star with a cummins isx. I picked up around .6 mpg when i first installed it 4 years ago. I was doing a lite weight dedicated run that allowed me to run 54 mph. But since then I started doing loads that required me to run 65+.

My Fleet Air Filter failed me about 6 months ago. I have been using paper filters and my 90 day avg has dropped to 6.52mpg.

The good news is the awesome people at Fleet Air replaced my filter for free!! It arrived today so I will install it before I get back on the road March 9th.

I can't speak for a Pro-Star (really depends on the engine) but my 60 day before and after showed an improvement of .28/mi and I've already paid for the filter and started to see a return on it.

I'd have gotten better improvements but I've started running a few heavy and or fast loads through mountains that I normally don't run plus starting to pickup some of that winter blend.

I have a 2007 Detroit Series 60 14 L

I checked my 90-day recently and I had gained .31/mi. Have you gotten one installed yet? If so, what results have you seen? Depending on when it was installed you should have at least 30-day comparison

The '09 ProStar has either a Cummins ISX 15 or a CAT C15 ACERT Engine. Either will benefit from the Fleet Air Filter- because anything to improve airflow under the hood will help fuel mileage on both engines.

It may also help those who have the Maxx(Lacks)Force MEGR 2010 engine, as that engine is really asthmatic and it needs as much air as it can get.

fleet air filters are supposed to be more beneficial to trucks with 1 under-the-hood compared to 2 external filters-makes sense. i just put one in my 2002 century-along with air tabs on truck and trl-and got a definate fuel gain. still too early to say precisely how much gain, but guessing 0.4-0.5 mpg. i have some noticeable boost too.
