air bag suspension on the axle

if I put a home made air lift on my benson spread axle trailer, Will I need to change the air bags to allow for the axle to lift higher on the front. and on the rear do I need to put one that will lift the trailer a little higher when the front axle is lifted? Or do I just use the ones that are on there now. how much clearence do I need when the front axle is lifted?

You keep the original air bags on the trailer in place and just put your lift system in place. I am not sure you can build all the parts for what the price of hendrickson ubl would cost. I paid 365 dollars for all the lift parts and then another 125 dollars for the 3 way valve system to raise and lower the axle. So a total of about 500 dollars counting mis.
