Being a company driver, paid under a W2, you will have to complete Schedule A, and Form 2106. You should already be completing these forms to file for your per-diem, you will just need to add in any and all un-reimbursed expenses. Maintenance, lights, paper towels, gloves, window cleaner, etc... ALL un-reimbursed job expenses go on Form 2106.

As a company driver you can not deduct chicken lights and chrome. You can deduct things that are necessary to do your job, such as gloves and required clothing. But as you do not own the truck and trinkets are not required to perform your job, you can not deduct them.

Yes you could. But things like a drop visor your talking about spending a lot of money on something you could lose if say for some reason you get move into a different truck. you should also make sure it's ok with your boss first.
