With the different accounting needs that we all have ProfitGauges will only sync with FuelGauges if you tell it to.

FuelGauges and ProfitGauges are fully integrated. Enter your fuel-ups in FuelGauges and those expenses will automatically merge into your accounting.

To turn syncing on between ProfitGauges and FuelGauges do the following:

  1. Make sure you are logged in
  2. Go to your settings page
  3. Click on the "PREFERENCE" tab
  4. Change the fields "Fuel Expense" and "Maintenance Expense" from "Manually Enter" to "FuelGauges"
  5. Then click Save Settings

Bobby, I've gone in and fixed your issue. Firefox on windows is the problem. I have my guys working on it. Took us a while before we could find the issue.

Thanks, Aaron

Roger, I'm seeing that you are able to sync. When you are in your monthly expenses go and click on SYNC next to the Save Month button. This will activate previously saved months. Let me know.

Hey Aaron thanks for the response. I did what you suggested but it appears that nothing has changed, my net profit for the month is still way off and the overview screen shows no data. Unless I'm looking at it wrong, I still don't see the fuel purchases accounted for. Thanks

Aaron let me update my last post, I looks like the business report and profit and loss statements now do reflect my fuel purchases. It's the overview report that doesn't appear to be updated. No data in the fields and the net profit is still off.

by

This is a confusing part for all drivers. We will be fixing that overview page soon. The issue is that it's looking at the current month on default but if you only enter info in for last month, which is what we recommend then it will always show N/A or 0. It's completely on me and I'll get it working better.

Hey Aaron I understand, I'm sure it's a daunting task working out all the bugs. My son is a site reliability engineer for Facebook and he tells me the stories. Keep up the great work, love the site and thanks for the quick responses.

Ben, the SYNC button is found to the LEFT of the SAVE MONTH button after opening a previously saved month.

I'm having the same issue on my account as well. I have tried both chrome and firefox. It affects all of the categories on the settings page. I will change something and the "save" button will come up. When I click the save it will twirl briefly and then show the save again. Is this an issue with my account as well or is it because I'm still in trial period. I really want to see how this works to decide if I'm going to continue.

I updated your sync prefs. They are not turned on. I'm going to have my programmers look into this again. It's strange that they would not save. Thanks for letting me know and giving me a chance to fix the error.
