Are there any sources recommended for custom doubledeck 53ft vans?

Looking for sources and information on custom 53ft dry van trailers new or used.

With the empty space above most loads that are hauled. I am looking to take advantage of this space to earn extra revenue.

Any Pros and Cons are also welcomed.

I used to work for an LTL carrier and we used E-track and plywood to make shelves. This was practical for the particular operation, as we would bring the loads back to the terminal and "Build" the load there.

Kentucky trailers. They all have e-track. I pull a KY spread axle drop frame that i can lift to any dock.. Ive seen 53' flat floors with liftgate for under 10k..Good website for them is; usedmovingvans.com Also just go to truck paper.com

A Kentucky trailer is what your looking for..

Pros- you could double deck loads, be able to strap anything to a wall anywhere in the trailer.. The Cons- 13 sheets of plywood plus 25-30 decking bars are heavy. I have 35 bars and 12-1/2 sheets of plywood and I'd say their about 1500lbs.

Load bars & plywood, that is what we use in hauling furniture.

Instead of e-track, we use logistic posts for the different height increments.

Go to NewHaven.com for any equipment ideas, but try to find them used for cheaper prices. New Haven is expensive.
