oil analysis showed 60 sodium and potassium was 28. what could it be? changed the oil and had full PM. 1,000 miles later sodium at 24 and potassium at 14. Nothing else shows out of wack.

Are you losing any coolant?

yes, but we think it is a loose hose. we have tightened it up and now not much is leaking like it was. both oil analysis, before oil change and after oil change do not show any goycol (ND) .

I had just high sodium in my oil sample no potassium and No Glycol what so ever. Sodium level was at 47 took the truck into detroit and found it had a cracked head on intake side and it was burning the coolant and that's why the sodium level was high.
