Good hiring practices - Company Drivers
Is it recommended to use a contract when hiring OTR drivers, driving company owned trucks and trailers? Seems like there would be protections on both sides and clarifications to avoid misunderstandings, however there seems to be resistance to contracts from drivers. If a contract is recommended, where would be a source for a good employment contract template geared for a company driver who is an employee of the carrier.
