Cattle guard bumper , and fuel economy

I am thinking about putting a Herd bumper on my 2012 Cascadia. The biggest question I have, is how it will affect my fuel economy? I assume that it will decrease, but does anyone have an idea how much the bumper would affect my MPG?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

I have ali-arc bumpers on my trucks, {which I don't recommend, they bend too easily, Herd does better} the effect on fuel ecocomy is very negligible, not measureable. Probably .1 or .2 tops. I hit 1 or 2 deer every year, so the bumper pays off quickly in reduced downtime for bodywork, and deductibles. If you live near Northeast Nebraska, the Punch Henn bumper can't be beat! Put air tabs on for a not measureable increase in mpg to off set any possible mpg loss.

Thanks for your input! I had a Herd on a Cascadia with my former job, and hit a total of 6-7 deer over the years, and only getting one broken headlight. I am very happy with the Herd system for that reason. My main concern is just the fuel economy aspect, as my Cascadia that had it, came to our facility (new) with the bumper already on, so I didn't know what the difference, if any was.
