Battery Powered APU needs charging system when laying over.

I have a 2013 Freightliner Cascadia, it has a parksmart APU system, I run out of power in about 10 hrs on a good day, I tried a small battery charger with my Honda , it don't seem to work, I was thinking of a RV converter charger, around 80 amps, Any Ideas or comments?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Do you have a shore power connection to your battery APU? If so, a small portable generator would charge it up using the 120v shore power connection. If not, then getting a Xantrex charger and using it with the portable generator would do the trick. I have a Xantrex inverter/charger I use that I connect up my Yamaha EF2000 generator via 120V plug in when I need to keep the batteries up. The charger provide 50A of charging to the batteries along with 1500w of inverter. Not some little trickle charge kind of thing like the little 12v battery charger connection on a generator.

Thanks for your reply Cliff, I went to Camping World and picked up a 75 amp Charger Converter, I just hooked it up, and will try it this weekend, will let you know how that works

by the way I have a 3000 watt quiet Honda that works great for me

Those should do the trick!
