Owners of Bose Ride experiences?

This is my first week with my Bose Ride. It has been way less than I expected, not anything like the demonstrator at the truck show. The book says it takes several days to get used to it. It is constantly pushing me up and pulling me down, always moving. It both tops out and bottoms out on me. Is there a secret to keep it from bottoming out? Is there any way to keep air in it so it won't slam you down to the frame when you get in the truck after it has been off? How long did it take you to get used to it? Thanks.

The latest upgrade SD card they sent me has made all the difference. It has not "bottomed out" since I got the new upgraded SD card. With the new SD card it's like a new seat all over again, only better. I've found that you can further isolate yourself from the bumps with a memory pad cushion under your feet. One can still "feel the road" through the steering wheel.

I got mine in August of 2010 at the Dallas truck show. The seat was great except it did bottom out every now and then. I was going to tell them about it at the next truck show because it wasn't very often it did that. Much to my surprise though in my mail box was a new SD card from Bose and it said to install the new card as they have been experiencing bottoming out and had a fix for it. Since I installed the new SD card (August 2011) it has been fine and hasn't bottomed out since.

So either something is messed up from your install or you didn't get the latest software. I would call Bose and tell them what is going join. Yours sounds very severe and no where near my every now and then. Also mine never topped out either.

Mine also looses all its air so it doesn't bottom out on me after its off.

It took maybe.a week to get used to it, if that.

I don't think yours is working right.

I agree, it doesn't sound like yours is working right at all.

I've had mine almost 2 yrs now and the only complaint I have is that the seat cushion is a bit firm if you ride 8-10 hrs! Thankfully FMCSA is gonna make sure this is no longer a concern by making us all take a 30 min. break during the first 8 hrs as of July 2013!

It did take a while before I was no longer aware of the seemingly constant motion of the seat! I have a bad back and am a true believer after throwing out my back on the road and feeling the result of this product's ability to reduce the impact of the road on my spine!

I used to have to turn it off and on every time I got on and off the interstate. At first it seemed to be dangerous when it was on while trying to back into a dock or a parking spot. Now I never power it down until I park for a break! Give it time and communicate any concerns to Brett or Joe @ Bose and you will not beat the Customer Service you will receive.

If you are sitting in that seat, regardless of make or model, for 8-10 hrs, someday we'll read your posts regarding driver health issues.

Got mine last week , It worked well the first day but the second day it would constantly move up & down about a half inch , on a level smooth highway , I had to shut the power off and just use the air ride ,,, best air ride seat I've ever had LOL
