I've tried slowing down, tapping the brakes, etc...I know that I've hit no less than 4 of those suckers and spent upwards of $20,000 in repairs. the "moose gooser" or cattle guard does sound like it may work. I know of a guy that works at the same outfit as I and has one of those guards. Well, he took out a moose in Flagstaff and destroyed the front of his W9. It may work for lighter wildlife, but not so much for anything bigger.

LOL....on stayin' out of the woods!!! Yeah, I've got some pretty bad luck when it comes to wildlife. None lately, but it seems to happen more during the fall-winter-spring time. Yes, that's when it cools off outside and they are more rampant I know, but it still sucks!
