How long will nite system last in a small flattop?

I want to put nite system in a 48 inch flat top fld I'm building. I am tearing sleeper apart and using a lot of high quality insulation and covering it with pine boards. I will be able to run up to 8 deep cycle batteries if needed. Just wondered how long I would be able to keep cool in extreme heat like we have been having. I understand it won't work through a reset. I will just get a room if I take one. FYI.. I'm from wi so I like it cold!

Answer this question I have this problem too

Have a friend that has the nite system he said it will last about 7 hours but he also said that once it gets above 80 degrees you better plan on either starting the truck or get a room because its not going to keep it cool enough

I believe they claim up to 8 hours...... the insulation will help make sure you buy a radiant heat barrier insulation, usually looks like silver bubble wrap and can be purchased at Lowes in a big roll. I sprayed a light coat of adhesive over my insulation and covered everything floor, walls roof then reinstalled my interior. I also purchased a Honda EU3000 quiet generator and a portable 1100 BTU A/C that sets just inside my sleeper door that cools the sleeper great when I'm sleeping. All for a cost of around $2300. Second year running it and no problems. Redneck APU.

Depends on time of day, ambient temp. and humidity. During the day with the sun shinning it wont last more than a few hours, and wont cool the sleeper at all. At night around 80deg. and low humidity i've gotton over 12 hours in a 9900i. Sleeper curtains closed.
