Has anyone used Xtreme Friction Fighter?

I saw Xtreme Friction Fighter demonstrated at the Jamboree at Walcott. I have not seen a review, and it is not included in the product Kevin recommends. They claim that they have only had one return in 20 years of business.

Does it work?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Beware of anything that is marketed using the Timken/Falex bearing machine thing. Or the "one armed bandit" as it is called in the lubrication community. It can be rigged to show that even Heads and Shoulders shampoo will beat even a top named synthetic oil! Watch this video and see for yourself.....

These have been used since the 40s and 50s and every oil compeny, Amsoil, Scharffers Oil. Justice Brothers, and others have used these to build there Co to what they are today. Head and shoulders is 3 timers more Zink then oil It is a skin sofern. why dont these people do there research. Go to wal-mart and look for yourselfe at the ingredents zink is the first one. Come on people.

That is a great video! We started with that in our Materials Stress lab back in the day of Industry Engineering and then proceeded on to other quality control test. Thanks for that!

Here is a higher quality test. The ASTM Test D3233 on the Epsilon Linear Precision Test Machine is a world of difference. But, it isn't something one can lug around to a car show.

An ASTM D-3233 Coefficient of Friction can be downloaded at www.MetalC2.com

This product tested is not an oil additive. It is a metal treatment. It doesn't contain Chlorine, Zinc or Teflon.

These custom Nano-technology molecules did not exist a few years ago.

Downloads include a Caterpillar engine, Dodge Highway Patrol car and others.

We are beginning testing with municipal water systems that to evaluate energy reduction and life-cycle. Certification testing has a high priority. It is not sold in Wal-Mart or any other chain.

Yes, we used this product in our fuel tank, and hub seal and have had nothing but problems since. Nothing but check engine lights, derating issues. Found out that our Def was contaminated. Long story short was weeks of downtime and thousands of dollars in repairs. Now down with leaking hub seal with this product all over our brakes. Funny coincidence that we didn't start having problems until we put this product in our truck. This product is a scam. Buy it if you intentionally want to poison your truck.

Kevin don't believe in anything that is considered a oil additive. I have never heard of this stuff but have used Motorkote for about 6 years and have seen the benefits of using it.''italic text''

Could you post some before and after used oil sample results so we could all see how good it is?

I talked to the XFF man (the owner I think) at the Chrome Shop Opening at the Petro in Joplin. He said the stuff is pretty much the same as motorkote, but is more concentrated.

No it is not pretty much the same. They are 60 % motor oil as a filler.

by

Heck, motor oil is only about 75% oil. The rest is the additive package that makes up the final product in the jug.

I know most "experts" are against additives but I have added a gallon of Lucas oil treatment to my engine at oil change time and have never had any kind of problem but according to the "experts", I probably wouldn't have had a problem anyway but the reason I own a truck is so "I can do it my WAY""""

Lucas only raises the viscosity of your oil so say you run 15/40w oil and added it it would pump it up to 15/50w

by

Actually, it would up even the cold flow side. Probably closer to a 20w50. Lucas is nothing more than a 250w base oil. No additives of any kind. Plenty of UOA tests on the stuff to confirm it.

BEWARE of Chlorine and these types of products: I tested a product called IXL on a friction test machine just like the videos they show with the torque wrench. It maxed out the weights on the machine and left a small scar. Then I did the same exact test with NO lubricant at all and used a Clorox Bleach handy wipe. I held the Clorex Wipe against the bearing. Other than smoke from the drying towel, Same exact results! Would you put Clorox Bleach in your engine?

Chlorine will dry out, crack, and shrink engine seals causing them to leak. Chlorinated Paraffin is the natural chemical and Chlorinated Olefin is the man made or synthetic version. Both will destroy your engine over time.

Heat and condensation in the engine with these Chlorinated products with cause acid formations and make cylinder walls brittle and pitted.

I do not know if these 2 mentioned products have Chlorinated Paraffin or Olefin but you should know before putting them in your engine.

This guy is saying all Chlorined products are the same. No they are not there are over 2000 famillies of chlorinated products out there.

20 Years in business? that's what you said right..

Why have you never heard of it before now? If in fact it was a super benefiting product on it's own (without the hype or un substantiated claims) don't you think you would have heard of it before this? wow 20 years and it just now being advertised, seems a little funny they say 20 years Yet no testing data, no longevity testing, etc! not to mention if it really worked and benefited your truck and or wallet in any notable way, where is the data, where is the lines of users saying this stuff really works. and why if it is a metal treatment must you re apply it at each oil change???

Common sense here guys....

with that said there are great products out there, so don't let one bad apple spoil your thoughts on the benefits of other possible products.

TEST DATA???? SAE-TESTING ???? common thing to do when offering a lubrication product, So where is the BEEF (Testing data) I don't see it , Do you?

John (Rep1)

I would like to thank you for your comment on the Xtreme Friction Fighter product. I am a firm believer in the Lucas oil additve. I add 2 gallons per oil change and since I have started doing this my engine oil pressure went up 4lbs at idle which I feel like is a huge advantage.

P.S. I cannot find anyone anywhere who has used Xtreme Friction but everyone loves Lucas.

by

Of course your oil pressure went up. You are moving molasses thru the engine. Viscosity is resistance to flow, not thickness. When you put a 250w base oil in the engine, which is what Lucas is, of course it will raise the pressure. But that can be a bad thing as well. Too much resistance and the oil will not get into all the cavities that it needs to. If Lucas is so good, still trying to figure out why folks don't just fill up on Lucas and forget the motor oil.
