History

Does anybody out there installed Koni shocks absorbers on their rigs, and if yes, how much they cost, and how long they last? are they worth the money?

I ran Koni , Pro Ride and now Roadking. Koni and Pro Ride leaked warranty sucked. Had Roadking since October 2011 like the handling very pricey.

Here's a thread on shocks that talks about Koni:

That's all i could find but I'll try them once my shocks go bad - that might be a while though.

Sorry I've never heard of them, but I too just added Road King Shocks!

The numbers actually prove Rd.King to be more economical over the long term than the usual Monroe or Gabriel Shocks. I've run the cheaper ones and experienced the degradation in ride quality in less than 1 year!

Rd.King has a projected 350,000 mile life before rebuilding and 4000 lb. force absorption VS. the "competition" 60,000-100,000 mile disposal... and 800 lb. force absorption.

As an O/Op I've got a long term plan and the Rd.King Shocks have impressed me thus far with the ride. All of the little rattles and squeaks in my truck have silenced since installation! So I know there is less vibration coming from the road and this will have additional benefits to my overall engine life.

Hope this helps!
